4.Comm. Enquiries Map

Accessing Comm. Enquiries Map

Navigate to the Flights section and under Maps & Empty Legs, click the “Comm. Enquiries Map” Button.

Overview

The Comm. Enquiries Map displays all enquiries with the Comm J type. The interface shows both enquiries and empty leg routes on the map for the selected date range.

You can filter enquiries and empty legs using multiple parameters to obtain the exact information you require.


Map Description

Show Selector

Located at the top of the map, the Show selector determines what data is displayed:

  • Enquiries & Empty Legs (default)

  • Empty Legs Only

  • Enquiries Only

Enquiries on the Map

Enquiries are represented as coloured lines on the map. Each colour corresponds to the enquiry status:

  • New – Very dark pink

  • Quoted – Dark blue

  • WON – Dark moderate lime green

An arrow on each line indicates the current position of the enquiry:

  • Arrow at the departure airport → enquiry has not departed

  • Arrow at the arrival airport → enquiry has completed its route

When hovering over a blue point, airport information appears (Airport Name, Codes, City, Country).

Clicking a blue point displays detailed enquiry information:

  • Flight departure date

  • Route

  • Aircraft

  • Status

  • Broker

  • Office

  • Enquiry ID

A list of enquiries appears on the right side of the page:

  • Clicking a row highlights only that enquiry on the map

  • Double-clicking a row opens the full enquiry page


Empty Legs on the Map

Empty legs are displayed as dotted vivid orange lines, each with an arrow showing its current position:

  • Arrow at departure airport → not yet departed

  • Arrow at arrival airport → already arrived

Only Open empty legs appear on the map.

  • Flight date

  • Route

  • Aircraft

  • Status

The right side of the interface contains a full list of empty legs:

  • Clicking a row displays only that empty leg on the map

Sorting and Filtering

Main Filters

Located at the top of the page:

  • Origin – enquiry departure airport

  • Dest – enquiry arrival airport

  • From Date / To Date – date range

  • Change Period – quick period selection

  • Status – enquiry status

  • From Airport – empty leg departure airport

  • To Airport – empty leg arrival airport

  • From Country – empty leg departure country

  • To Country – empty leg arrival country

  • From Region – empty leg departure region

  • To Region – empty leg arrival region

Additional Filters (via the Filters button)

  • Ref – enquiry reference

  • REG – empty leg registration

  • Type – Comm J (default)

  • Source – enquiry source

  • Brokers – enquiry broker

  • ACFT Type – aircraft type

  • Customer – enquiry customer

  • Office – company office

  • Operator – operator of the empty leg

  • Show All Type – displays all available aircraft types

Clearing Filters

Use the Clear Filters button to reset all selected filters.
