Messages Types.

Preamble

In general, this section of the system settings is designed to manage the list of all types of messages that sends or can be sent out of the system via email/sita protocols that the users (internal mechanisms of system as well) can conveniently rely on these types and have a unified list in the system.

Page overview and description

You can find this page in the General Settings section of the page.

The page is quite simple and is a standard record editing page, where a record is a row in a table, like each saved message type.

Actions

Among the basic actions on the page are:

  • Search/Refresh GENERAL COMPONENT

    • To obtain the most relevant data in the system, use a search taking into account the applied filters.

  • Clear Filters GENERAL COMPONENT

    • To reset all entered filters or search parameters and refresh the page

Filters

Among the basic filters on the page are:

  • Search GENERAL COMPONENT

    • For quick search of information visually displayed in the tabular part

Tabular Part

The tabular part is represented by the only fields of the record, namely

  • Message Type

    • Our internal identifier of what kind of message it is, is usually entered in accordance with the message type in the notations of IATA/AHM or others. In the case when it is necessary to specify a subtype of the message, such as "FSU Departure", the name must be specified through an underscore. The code is made only of capital letters.

  • Message Type Description

    • This is any textual description that does not participate in logic and serves exclusively as information for end users of the system.

Entry Editor

  • Update

    • If you selected a record and changed the information when updating it will be changed, if you create a new record, the information will be saved

  • New

    • Will clear the information entered in the editor and prepare the interface for creating a new record.

  • Delete

    • Delete the selected record from the system.
