System translation

Preamble

The ERP system includes built-in support for interface translation and localization of visual components. Unlike systems that rely on third-party translation services, our platform uses an internal key-value translation model. In this system, each element of the user interface is represented by a unique key, and the translated version is the value associated with that key.

Key Points

This design offers a number of advantages:

  • Context-Aware Translations: Translations are not limited to direct, literal interpretations. Instead, we tailor the language based on the specific context in which it appears. This allows the system to provide translations that are more meaningful and appropriate for each page or workflow.

  • Flexible Language Management: If any translation is incorrect, missing, or requires refinement, our team can quickly update or add new translations without requiring system downtime or re-deployment.

  • Custom User-Level Translations: For our customers we offer the option to modify translations directly. This is particularly useful for teams with specialized terminology or for companies operating in multiple regions with slight language variations.

While translated content may sometimes appear misaligned or affect layout due to variations in word length across different languages, these instances are usually minor and can be adjusted. Overall, this feature provides significant flexibility for adapting the system to multiple languages and ensuring a user-friendly experience across global teams.

We are continuously working to expand and improve our language coverage. If you notice any missing or unclear translations, please contact support or use the in-system tools (where available) to suggest changes.
