Overview

A General Sales Agent (GSA) is a sales representative for an airline in a specific country or region. 

Typically GSA cooperates with multiple airlines.

Airlines normally use a GSA in areas that it does not operate to or from, allowing them to have a sales presence in a country at a lower cost than operating their own offices in the short term

AWERY system allows you to view the list of previously added GSA, create and edit

The main functionality on the page

1.The Search field allows filtering items by the "operator" and "company" parameters

2. The filters area contains the following:

Type - Operator is selected by default

Operator - drop-down with operator name

GSA - drop-down with available GSA office(s)

Country - country selector

3.The List of existing items:

Operator Name - Operator name of a GSA

Operator full name - operator full name of a GSA

Company - GSA name

Company full name - GSA full name

Country - the country name of a GSA

Show on Site - some entries are marked by a green checkmark - it means these items will be displayed on the Cargo Booking site

4. The Editor - the set of buttons and fields, which helps you to add new items, edit and delete existing entries

  • To add a new GSA, please click the +NEW button in the Editor and fill in the required data. Field description you will find below:

Operator - select required one or several names on the drop-down

NB: One entry will be created if you select one Operator. In the case of multiply Operator selection, the same number of entries will be created

GSA - specify the office on the drop-down

Types of contact - the system allows you to select one of several options: GSSA, BSA, CSA, TCM, MGP, Integrator, Charter

Countries - countries selector. You can specify country/countries or not. If you do not specify the country entry will be created for all countries by default

Hub - airline hub, an airport used as a transfer point

“Show on Site” check-box - if ticked GSA will be displayed on the Cargo Booking site

  • To confirm the creation of an entry, please click the Save button
  • In case of some changes, please select the required GSA on the list. Information will be displayed in the editor. Click the Save button after updates
  • If you need to remove some GSA, please select it on the list and the Delete button will become available in the Editor



  • After clicking the Delete button the dialog box will appear, please confirm or cancel the action

  • GSA Countries settings are used on The Cargo Booking site

Permissions

  • There are no permissions on the CSA Countries page
