Overview

AWERY system allows you to add the description of different commodity types.

You have an opportunity to select commodity type and specify commodity description when you create or edit AWB data

For better understanding, commodity description is a more detailed characteristic of transported goods

One description can be linked to several different commodity types

1.The Search field allows quick data filtering by name, priority, rate, levy tax parameters

3.The Editor - the set of buttons and fields, which helps you to add new items, edit and delete existing entries

To create a new commodity type description, please click the New button in the Editor and fill in the following information:

Name - is the mandatory field

Other fields and checkboxes are optional:

Priority - enter the integer and it will show the order of displaying for the current commodity description

Duty rate - the value of a rate for commodity description

Duty rate type - you can choose one of two options: Percent or By unit. Percent option is selected by default

Levy tax

Check-boxes section:

Is TV - in case of tick in AWB will be created additional expenses “INSURANCE_TV”
Is Haz mat - hazard materials - in case of tick in AWB will be created additional expenses “HAZMAT”
Is Fragile - fragile goods - in case of tick in AWB will be created additional expenses "INSURANCE_FRAGILE"
Show on Site - current commodity description will be displayed on the Cargo Booking App site (Enquiry portal)
Auto create type - is ticked by default. Commodity description and the same commodity type will be created automatically

When a new description is already created you can specify the linked commodity type(s). Please do the next steps:

Select the early created entry on the list. The data will be displayed in the editor. You will see the additional field “Linked types” below the main form

To connect types to commodity description, please tick the necessary option(s) in the drop-down. Linked types will be saved automatically

To make some changes, please select the required entry on the list. The data will be displayed in the editor. Click the Save button after updates
The Delete button becomes available in the Editor after selecting the necessary entry in the list
