Claim Reasons
Navigation To Claim Reasons:
Navigate to the Settings section and under System Setup click the “System Settings” button.

Then navigate to the Cargo section and click the “Claim Reasons” button.

Overview
The Claim Reasons page is used to manage and configure predefined reasons that can be assigned to claims within the system. These reasons help categorize, explain, and track the nature of claims for reporting and resolution purposes.
Interface Overview
Main Table (Center Panel)
This table displays all claim reason entries, each defined by:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Name | The label or identifier for the reason. |
Code | A numeric identifier for internal reference or integration purposes. |
Description | A short explanation or note about the reason. |
Each row represents a unique reason for a claim.
Right Panel: Reason Editor
Used for creating, modifying, or deleting claim reasons.
Fields
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name (required) | The name of the claim reason (e.g., Jason, testy). |
Code | Numeric identifier for backend or system reference. |
Description | Short explanation for internal/external use. |
Buttons
🟩 Update – Save any modifications to the currently selected record.
➕ New – Clear fields for creating a new claim reason.
🗑️ Delete – Remove the selected reason from the list.
Functionality Details
The search bar allows filtering by any text in the Name, Code, or Description columns.
Selecting a row in the table populates the fields in the right panel for review or editing.
The Update button becomes active when edits are made or a row is selected.
