Assign captain to flight

There are four ways to assign captain to flight:

(NB If any of these options is not available, contact support@awery.aero or your Manager

to provide you with access)

First: 

1. Open Flights Database (Home page -> Flights sector -> Flights section -> Flights Database menu item). 

2. At Flights Database page you will see the grid. Find 'Crew' column.

3. Find the flight needed in grid and press 'assign crew' button in 'Crew' column.  

4. After pressing 'assign crew' button the 'Assign crew to flight ...' pop-up will open.

5. Find the drop-down list 'CAPTAIN' in the left and choose the captain needed.

6. After captain is chosen find the waypoint choosing option 'From', 'To'. These are the waypoints (airports) you will assign the captain to. With this option you can assign captain not only for the whole flight, but for for the part of flight too.

7. After captain and 'From' - 'To' waypoints chosen – click the 'Assign to this flight' button on the bottom.

Second:

1. Open Flights Database (Home page -> Flights sector -> Flights section -> Flights Database menu item). 

2. Open Flight (choose the flight you need from the list and click it twice).

3. When Flight page is opened, find and open the 'Crew' tab.

4. In the left choosing list (menu) click 'CAPTAIN' - captains list will opened.

5. Find the captain needed in the list and click it.  

6. You will see the buttons changed in the right - 'assign to this flight' button appeared. 

7. Change the 'From' and 'To' airports - these are the waypoints you will assign captain on. 

8. Press the 'assign to this flight' button.

Third:

1. Open FDTL Planning page (Home Page -> Crew sector -> Crew management section -> FDTL Planning menu item).

2. Click the cell that matches the chosen captain and the date you need to assign him to flight.

3. In the callout opened click the '+ Add flight' button - the 'Existing flights' pop-up will opened.

4. Choose in grid the flight you need to assign the captain to and click it once.

5. Once the chosen flight is clicked, the editing buttons will appear on the top.

6. Choose the airports needed in 'From' and 'To' options, then choose 'Pos' (position) - 

  button will appear. 

7. Click the 

 (save to flight) button.

Fourth:

1. Open Crew Planning page (Home Page -> Crew sector -> Crew management -> Crew Planning menu item).

2. At opened page, click twice the cell that matches captain needed and the date you need to assign him to flight - the 'Existing flights' pop-up will opened.

3. Choose in grid the flight you need to assign the captain to and click it once.

4. Once the chosen flight is clicked, the editing buttons will appear on the top.

5. Choose the airports needed in 'From' and 'To' options, then choose 'Pos' (position) -  

  button will appear. 

6. Click the 

 (save to flight) button.
