Aircraft Series Types

Accessing Aircraft Series Types

Navigate to the Settings section and under the System Setup Section click the “System Settings” Button. Then under the Aircrafts Section click the “Aircraft Series Types" button.

Overview

The Aircraft Series Types page allows users to:

• View the full list of aircraft series types.

• Add new aircraft series types.

• Edit existing entries.

• Note: Deleting an aircraft series type is not allowed.

Main Functionalities

1. Search Functionality

Users can filter records based on:

• Family (Aircraft model)

• Manufacturer (Aircraft manufacturer)

• Revenue Type (Accounting classification)

2. Data Table

Displays the following columns:

• Family: Aircraft model.

• Manufacturer: Aircraft manufacturer (predefined in the system).

• Revenue Type: Determines how the aircraft is classified for accounting purposes.

3. Editor Panel

• Used for adding and editing aircraft series types.

Adding a New Aircraft Series Type

1. Click the New button in the Editor panel.

2. Fill in the required details (all fields are mandatory):

   • Family: Enter the aircraft model manually.

   • Manufacturer: Select from a predefined drop-down list.

   • Type: Select from a predefined drop-down list.

3. Click Save to confirm.

Editing an Existing Aircraft Series Type

1. Select an aircraft series type from the list.

2. The Editor panel will display the selected entry.

3. Make necessary changes and click Save.

Important Notes

• Deleting an Aircraft Series Type is not possible.

• Aircraft Series Types are essential when creating new aircraft types in the Info & Rates module.
